Scott and I are about to head out on vacation, to this backcountry lodge in the mountains near Revelstoke BC, with a dozen friends and acquaintances. The accommodation is rustic (to be kind) but the company is fantastic, the skiing amazing and the views unmatched. And perhaps best of all, is the complete lack of distraction from the outside world. No phones, no TV, no internet - just us and the mountains. And a lot of food and booze.
